A visitor from the states

Pat and Sue have been visiting there son Patrick in Sweden and were able to fly over to see us.  They came in on Friday and Leanne and I were able to show them around a bit.

There always seems to be something interesting in London. This guy was playing some warm tunes on his horn.

Saturday night we played the card game "up and down the river". Pat and Leanne seemed to be getting the cards all night.

While Sue and I were just along for the ride, or to be picked on

Pat and I had plans to go to a sports bar to watch the Superbowl Sunday night. With the kick off at 11:20 pm and the game ending around 3:30 am Monday morning, we decided we should warm up for the late night.   We ended up staying up till 4:00 am Saturday morning---well actually that is when the booze ran out.

Monday Pat, Sue and I took a bus ride down to Trafalgar Square. I pointed out the sights while on the bus and then did a walk down to the Thames river. On the way there we passed the house that Ben Franklin lived in while in London

And then it was time for lunch and stopped at Gordon's wine bar. This is the oldest wine bar in London, started in 1890

And there were two old guys there too.
.

It was a short visit, we had a great time and it was great to see them both.
