This will be for October and November as the time is counting down for us here in London.
The beginning of October we went to Chicago for Josh and Travis's wedding. It worked out that we were also able to see Leanne's sister Kim, and Jim while we were there. It was a great time for a short weekend.
The end of the month we went to the Studs and Spouses dinner. This is a yearly event the the group of guys I hang out with on Thursdays and have pints. It's for the wives so they can meet each other and also the rest of us. Great food and way too much wine.
Leanne's Aunt Jan and her cousin Cheryl came to visit the beginning of November. While they were here we saw the Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic theater. It's been playing there since 1986 so we figured they wouldn't make any mistakes.
I stayed home and watched Coach and 25 while the ladies went to Bruges for a few days. They went via the Euro-star, the little girl that was sitting with them must have had some great stories after riding with this bunch.
While in Bruges they would do a tour of the city, see a few museums and also attended a Harp concert.
The day after they returned we did a walk thru Kensington Garden and stopped for a picture by the Albert Memorial.
A wonderful few days with Aunt Jan and Cheryl.
The following Sunday Leanne and I went to the Royal Albert Hall to hear a youth choir sing Handel's Messiah.
There's not a bad seat in this place.
We were also able to see some tennis this week at the 02 arena.

Did I mention my birthday is in November? Well it is and Leanne got me a birthday present that I never expected. She signed us up for a Mixology class at Harvey Nichols.
Part of the package was breakfast before the class and a light lunch after. Its hard work mixing drinks before noon.
The instructor explain how all the tools for making a drink and made a few for us to try. Some one asked what was the most expensive drink in the place was. It would be a glass of Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac. A bottle of this is $3,500 and they sell the empty bottle for $300.
After a few instructions we had a hand at making our own.
Leanne was first, she decided to make a Breakfast Negroni using a cocktail shaker.
As you can see her's was a lot fancier that mine.
I went with something a little simpler.
Just a Mojito with a lot of ice.
After a few drinks it was time for lunch,
And maybe a nap when we got home.
